They that the most valuable gift that you can give someone is time. When you are travelling, there is no better way to share that gift than by spending time with locals or your travelling companions and then getting a picture to save that moment in time. We love Polaroid camera’s for the simple reason that you can print a wallet size version of that picture to save that moment in time forever. It is a picture that you can give to a friend or take home with you.
Or…what we used it for, was sharing moments with people who have never seen what they look like. The first time I was in Mahabana, Madagascar people were running for their lives when I pulled out my camera for fear that I was carelessly whipping around a weapon. Once they realized it was a digital camera, they would not leave my side, trying to see the screen pop up after getting me to take a picture of them.
I always wished there was a way I could transfer them the photos (yet they don’t have electricity let alone e-mail). That was when we reached out to Polaroid to see if they would assist us on our journeys and they have! They are helping to spread happiness and cheer all across the world. Helping people save and share moments.
